Contunue This Conversation With Us

The question we hear most often from our newsletter subscribers and book readers is some version of:

How do I participate in this work?

WorldMakers is the answer.

Not another course.
Not a content library.

A community where facilitators, educators, consultants, researchers, academics, and leaders are running the four tasks, testing embodied practices, pushing on the concepts of emergence, and developing a relationship to the creative process. A place where you'll find the peers you already suspected were out there.

A Global Practice, Making Itself Every Week

WorldMakers spans AI research, healthcare, education, consulting, foresight, organizational development, ecology, and fields that resist clean labels. What binds this community isn't a job title or a sector. It's the conviction that the world is more creative, more relational, more alive than any framework can hold – and the desire to act as if that were true.

Most members arrived the way you're arriving: they read the book or the newsletter, something landed, and they wanted more than more content. They wanted to test the practice. Extend the theory. Find out what emergent creativity looks and feels like in ways they've not considered.

What our WorldMakers members describe, consistently, is this shift: they stop leading with ideas and plans and start leading with action. They stop asking "What's the idea?" and start asking "What's emerging?" Their practice changes because their relationship to creativity has changed.

What Our Members Are Saying

Florian Rustler

Organizational Developer and Consultant for Effective Collaboration

"WorldMakers is a special place for me. Every week, I am inspired and challenged. The community is different from all other communities I have experienced because of the stance it takes on what creativity is and how we as human beings can participate in the creative process."

Bhavana Nissima

Founder & CEO at The Lightweaver House

"My therapy practice has wonderfully evolved thanks to the many interactions here. The quality of engagement with people around me has also changed. I recognise the magic of 'co' and how both co-mmuning and diversity is imperative for any change in the system. And through all this, I am now recognising real possibilities for acolonial shifts in my world. This is huge."

Thirty-Five Live Events Per Year
Two Weekly Podcasts
One Ongoing Experiment

A collaborative enacted practice of making-thinking-doing:

Live Events - Approximately Thirty-Five a Year

Topical discussions, interviews with key figures working at the edges of emergence, short lectures that open extended dialogue, hands-on workshops, member spotlights, and walks. Each event is recorded, transcribed, and recapped for members to reference.

Two Weekly Podcasts

The Deep Dive podcast works over the current newsletters concepts at length – the how and why behind each newsletter, what's driving the approach, where they came from, and where they're going.

The Spotlights podcast riff on what's happening in WorldMakers or in our creative practices – occasionally featuring guest practitioners who use this work to shift how they facilitate, teach, lead, and make.

Audio Newsletter

Audio versions: (delivered as a podcast) of each newsletter, enhanced with topical context and deeper exploration. Long enough for a commute, a run, or a walk.

Weekly Exercises

Approximately twenty-six creativity exercises a year, each one an embodied provocation you can use to experiment with our approaches and take into your own practice.

Archives & Library

All members receive access to the complete archive of newsletters – 250+ volumes searchable, cross-referenced, organized by theme and series – the library of live events, both podcasts, and embodied exercises.

Complete Annotated Bibliography

Currently 102 books and growing – across complexity, emergence, worldmaking, and the fields with which these ideas are in dialogue. The reading list behind the book, our framework, approaches, and practices.

Ongoing Dialogue

The community is where the work gets tested. Where you can post a question on Tuesday about something you tried with a client and have four practitioners across three continents working it through with you by the end of the day.

What Members Say Has Changed for Them

This is what we hear, in members' own words, about how WorldMakers has affected their practice.

Steven Greenstein

STEM Innovation Professor at Montclair State University

"Their book is so good, bits of radical insight every time I open it, but nothing beats experiencing their work in WorldMakers. I've always valued the experience of learning over its output, and their work gives me new ways to think about those things."

Ozgen Bagci

Educational Consultant and HundrED Community Lead

"I knew the experience would be good, but I wasn't expecting the depth, thoughtfulness, and quality that you've brought to it. Everything – from the content to the curation, the way you hold space, and the connections you foster – feels intentional, grounded, and genuinely meaningful."

Tom Pauly

Director of Digital Transformation

"WorldMakers became my new social media so to speak in a kind of intellectual challenging way. I am hardly on LinkedIn anymore… you are my social platform – limited in reach, but deep in content."

John Lovitt

Founder and Board Member

"This whole forum… the power of the ideas that are coming up trigger a different way of looking at things. This has been high value for me."

Dan Neitz

CEO at People Before Patients

"This is basically what anybody that's on LinkedIn wishes was happening… it's all of the work, it's tightened up. So 90% signal, 10% noise."

Mark Stolow

CEO at People Before Patients

"To create worlds in good company is a gift. But this isn't any ordinary gift. What Jason, Iain, Andrew & the larger community are generously offering is a rare peek into a mysterious box that holds the sheep you've been longing for, tethered only to your wilding imagination. I feel like I should be paying you a lot more money. That's how appreciative I am."
