Definition of Confirmation Bias

What is Confirmation Bias?

Confirmation bias means that we always look for the evidence to support our views. On a deeper level everything we see, say and do in our everyday mode of attention confirms our views.

While this issue is well recognized, the real question is much deeper. We do not all live in the same neutral reality which we just see differently based upon our biases (or cultures or world views etc.). This model of diving reality into (1) the really real and (2) interpretations is itself flawed.
