Welcome to Emerging Futures -- Vol 48! The Best of -- So Far --...
Good morning strangers of the summer sun,
Summer is more than a time for BBQs, long walks on the trails, kayaking down rivers, and digging your toes in the sand with a good book in hand.
Summer has a slower pace.
A bit of room to be away from work. A flexibility to be more present In our environments and in the lives of loved ones.
And so we are taking full advantage of this time and space to explore - away from our day to day routines. Iain is kayaking and camping from little unknown island to little unknown island along the coast of Maine, while Jason is trying to taste gelato in every little village across central Italy with a gaze upon beauty in all directions.
We’ll be back with new content next week — when we continue with our exploration of process and creativity (part two).
We will be changed by our experiences, and ready to experiment with the final third of 2022 - as we have many projects in the pipeline we are very excited to work on and share with you.
In today's newsletter we share with you some highlights of our public writing from the past 8 months — think of it as a type of ever so slightly ironic “best of” series.
It’s so easy for posts to slip past one’s feed in Linkedin, or an email newsletter to get pushed off into the read-it-later pile only to be eventually deleted because there's just not enough time to consume all the amazing material available to us.
So here is a distillation and organization of various texts by topic and theme. We hope you find some value for your own collective creativity practices in the links below. And we hope that you are also wandering your own oceans.
